EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum publishes report on NFTs

On 29 November 2021, the EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum, an initiative supported by the EU Parliament and Commission which monitors Blockchain technologies within the EU, has published its report on Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). Aside from defining NFTs and clarifying their role in the digital economy, the report includes concrete policy proposals for the regulation of NFTs on an EU-wide level. For example, the report suggests clarifying the applicability of anti-money laundering and copyright legislation to NFTs.
