Announced Regulation of Artificial Intelligence Bill in the Spring 2025 Legislation Programme

On 18 February 2025, the Government announced the Regulation of Artificial Intelligence Bill in the Spring 2025 Legislation Programme, aiming to implement EU Regulation 2024/1689, which establishes harmonised rules on artificial intelligence (AI) under the Artificial Intelligence Act.
