Communications Commission issued National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy

On 28 November 2019, the Communications Commission issued the National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy (2020-2030). It aims to reposition the economy by leveraging digital technologies and it is structured around eight pillars, including digital literacy, infrastructure, emerging technologies, and indigenous content. Aligned with the Federal Government’s Economic Recovery and Growth Plan, the strategy seeks to drive digital innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic diversification.
