Utilities Regulatory Authority announced Draft Regulation for E-commerce

On 23 February 2021, the Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA) announced that the draft regulations for e-commerce service providers, particularly delivery companies, remain under development. A preliminary meeting was held with local e-commerce stakeholders to gather insights. Further consultations are planned to develop an inclusive regulatory framework that promotes high service standards and trust.
