United States of America: EU-US Joint Technology Competition Policy Dialogue launched

On 7 December 2021, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Department of Justice's Antitrust Division, and the European Commission announced in a joint statement that the EU-US Joint Technology Competition Policy Dialogue had been launched. The Dialogue will involve regular meetings and discussions around shared competition policy and enforcement concerning technological markets. The growth of the digital market, in particular, has been named one of the factors causing the establishment of the Dialogue.
