Signed Indonesia-UAE Memorandum of Understanding on payment system cooperation

On 8 November 2021, the Central Banks of Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cooperation in payment systems and digital financial innovation. In particular, the Memorandum involves financial services digital innovation, the countries' cross-border payment systems and the policies to prevent money laundering and the financing of terrorism.
