Netherlands: Ministry of Economic Affairs launched a public-private consultation platform for semiconductor sector

On 29 January 2025, the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs launched Semicon Board NL, a public-private consultation platform for the semiconductor sector. The objective of this initiative is to develop a sector agenda for 2035, with a focus on international competitiveness, innovation and industrial policy, talent development, and supply chain resilience. Participants in this initiative include Dutch semiconductor companies, industry associations, and government officials, who will collaborate to address strategic goals and investment needs.
