Indonesia and India signed Memorandum of Understanding on digital technologies including artificial intelligence

On 25 January 2025, India and Indonesia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic alliance in the digital sector. The MoU applies to the development of technologies including Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things and public digital infrastructure including digital identity, and human resource skill development in the IT sector. The MoU also focuses on improving human resource skills in the information technology sector. A Joint Working Group has been formed to oversee the implementation and ensure effective cooperation.
