United States of America: Bill amending Tennessee Code Annotated Title 39 concerning computer generated images (HB 433 / SB 404) was introduced to Tennessee Congress

On 28 January 2025, the Bill amending Tennessee Code Annotated Title 39 concerning computer-generated images (HB 433/SB 404) was introduced to both Houses of the Tennessee Congress. The Bill would expand the scope of the offence of unlawful exposure, thereby including images of identifiable persons created or modified using computer software, artificial intelligence applications, or other digital editing tools. If enacted, the Bill would take effect on 1 July 2025.
