China: TC260 closes consultation on draft “Artificial Intelligence Safety Standard System (V1.0)”

On 21 February 2025, the National Cybersecurity Standardization Technical Committee (TC260) closed its public consultation on the draft "Artificial Intelligence Security Standard System (V1.0)”. The draft is designed to guide and standardise the development and application of AI technologies, ensuring their safe integration into various industries. This initiative aims to align with the "Global Artificial Intelligence Governance Initiative" and support the implementation of the "Artificial Intelligence Security Governance Framework."
