On 22 July 2024, Morocco released its National Cybersecurity Strategy 2030, which outlines a framework structured across four key pillars: National Cybersecurity Governance, Security and Resilience of National Cyberspace, Capacity Development and Awareness, and Regional and International Cooperation. The strategy encompasses 4 pillars, 11 objectives, 26 strategic initiatives, and 60 specific actions aimed at establishing a reliable, secure, and resilient national cyberspace. The first pillar focuses on strengthening the legal framework and improving coordination mechanisms between stakeholders. The second pillar addresses the protection of vital infrastructure information systems, incident management, and cybersecurity standards implementation. The third pillar targets human resource development, cybersecurity culture promotion, and ecosystem development. The fourth pillar emphasises international engagement and bilateral cooperation in information sharing and capacity building.
