National Cybersecurity Strategy 2024-2029 was released

On 8 August 2024, Rwanda launched its second National Cyber Security Strategy 2024-2029. The strategy consists of three pillars: cyber resilience and trust, cybersecurity industry development, and cooperation enhancement. Under the direction of the National Cyber Security Authority (NCSA), the Strategy outlines seven objectives: consolidating the national cybersecurity framework, increasing cyber risk management capability, improving cyber incident readiness, protecting critical infrastructure, embedding cybersecurity in national culture, building a cybersecurity industry, and promoting international cooperation. This builds upon the previous National Cybersecurity Policy established in 2015.
