Netherlands: Signed Netherlands-Arizona cooperation agreement in field of semiconductor technology

On 6 January 2025, the Netherlands and Arizona signed a declaration to strengthen cooperation in semiconductor technology. The agreement, signed by the Governor of Arizona and the Minister of Economic Affairs, focuses on innovation, talent development, and market access for semiconductor products and services. The declaration also includes commitments to collaboration in research and development, valorisation, and ecosystem management. Furthermore, the establishment of a Netherlands Business Support Office in Phoenix, Arizona, was initiated with the objective of providing structural support for Dutch companies seeking to expand their operations in the region. The office is designed to facilitate practical assistance by connecting companies with potential partners, providing market intelligence, and offering insights into local laws and regulations.
