Saudi Arabia - Uzbekistan Digital Partnership Agreement enters into force

On 18 December 2024, the Ministers of Communications and Information Technology of Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan signed a digital partnership agreement. The agreement aims to enhance bilateral cooperation in the fields of communications and modern technologies. It focuses on economic development through digital transformation, sharing knowledge and expertise in artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, 5G and 6G technologies, cloud computing, data centers, and technical entrepreneurship. Additionally, it aims to support digital investments and skill development for digital capabilities and encourages national companies to establish regional headquarters in Uzbekistan.
