Australia: Signed Singapore-Australia Memorandum of Understanding on facilitating AI adoption

On 16 December 2024, Singapore's Ministry of Digital Development and Information and Australia's Ministry for Industry and Science signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to reaffirm their commitment to facilitate artificial intelligence (AI) adoption. This MoU expands the scope of collaboration between the two countries. Its key objectives are promoting responsible AI, including the development and adoption of ethical governance frameworks, sharing best practices across government, research, and industry, growing links between research and industry, and facilitating increased access to AI technologies, markets, and talent.
