Malaysia: Issued MCMC guidelines on information and network security for the communications and media industry

On 8 December 2024, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) issued guidelines on information and network security for the communications and multimedia industries. The framework provides best practices that strengthen the ability of service providers to manage cyber risks, prevent data breaches, and enhance network resilience to cyber risks.
