Adopted National Securities Commission order approving CEDEARs programs to invest in ETFs

On 5 December 2024, the National Securities Commission approved the creation of five new CEDEARs (Certificados de Depósito Argentinos) programs. CEDEARs are financial instruments that allow Argentine investors to trade shares of foreign assets, such as Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), on the local stock market using Argentine pesos. The order enables the trading of ETFs that were previously prohibited in Argentina, including Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs.
