Adopted Personal Data Protection Proclamation (Proclamation No. 1321/2024) including registration requirements

On 4 April 2024, the Personal Data Protection Proclamation was adopted by the Parliament. The proclamation mandates data controllers and processors to register with the Authority to process personal data. Furthermore, the controllers must notify the Authority of relevant changes for Register updates, and the Authority can cancel registrations if false information is provided, or requirements are breached.
