Morocco: Announced investigation into Imprimerie Nationale SA's proposed acquisition of Idemia Identity and Security France SAS

On 10 October 2024, the Competition Council announced an investigation into the proposed acquisition of Idemia Identity and Security France SAS by Imprimerie Nationale SA. The transaction entails Imprimerie Nationale gaining exclusive control of Idemia through the acquisition of 100% of its share capital and voting rights. Both companies operate in the secure identity services sector, with Imprimerie Nationale focusing on physical identity and secure digital services under the IN Groupe and Idemia providing similar secure identity solutions.
