Algeria: Adopted ANPDP-APD MoU to enhance cooperation in personal data protection

On 8 October 2024, the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data of Algeria (ANPDP) and the Personal Data Protection Authority of Mauritania (APD) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in personal data protection. The MoU aims to foster the exchange of expertise and best practices between the two countries, focusing on legal and technical aspects such as Algeria's digital portal for data processing compliance.
