On 25 September 2024, the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform issued the Digital Morocco 2030 Strategy. The strategy is structured around two strategic axes: digitising public services to improve access for citizens and businesses, and stimulating the digital economy through initiatives targeting digital export, startups, and digital enterprises. The strategy’s implementation is supported by three accelerators: digital talents, focusing on skills' development; cloud infrastructure, enabling digital services; and connectivity, improving broadband access. Objectives include facilitating access to services, becoming a digital producer, creating job opportunities and contributing to the national GDP by 2030. Furthermore, the strategy emphasises that the latest technological innovations are integral, specifically AI. Finally, AI features as part of the "stimulating the digital economy" objective.
