Announced lawsuit against Mozilla over alleged failure to delete online content classified as illegal

On 16 September 2024, a public lawsuit was filed against Mozilla Corporation (Case No. 05-3744/2024) in the Tagansky District Court of Moscow. Mozilla allegedly violated Part 2 of Article 13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offences, which pertains to the failure of the owner of a website or the owner of an information resource in the information and telecommunications network "Internet" to delete information or an Internet page if the obligation to delete such information or Internet page is provided for by the legislation.
