Argentina: Introduced Bill on algorithmic responsibility and the promotion of robotics, green algorithms and artificial intelligence (0805-D-2024) including data protection

On 18 March 2024, the Bill on algorithmic responsibility and the promotion of robotics, green algorithms and artificial intelligence (AI) (0805-D-2024), including data protection, was introduced to the Chamber of Deputies of Argentina. The Bill requires developers of AI systems to safeguard personal data, follow security measures and prevent unauthorised data use. Furthermore, the Bill includes provisions regarding the processing of sensitive data.
