Vietnam: Issued Ministry of Science and Technology guide outlining principles for the research and development of responsible AI systems

On 11 June 2024, the Ministry of Science and Technology issued a guide outlining principles for the research and development of responsible AI systems. The guide establishes voluntary standards and includes 9 principles that entities should follow: cooperation and innovation promotion, transparency, controllability, safety, security, privacy, respect for human rights and dignity, user support, and accountability. Additionally, the guide includes recommendations for their implementation.
