Signed India-Saudi Arabia MoU on regulatory and digital cooperation

On 16 October 2024, the Communications and Space Technology Commission of Saudi Arabia (CITC) and the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to increase cooperation in the regulatory and digital sphere. The MoU aims to enhance joint efforts in areas such as RegTech use cases, infrastructure, and digital regulatory principles. Both parties anticipate the mutual exchange of information, knowledge transfer in the communications and technology sector, and the utilisation of training programs offered by the Digital Regulatory Academy.
