Adopted CAC guidelines for building a national data standards system

On 11 October 2024, the Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission adopted the guidelines for building a national data standards system. The guideline applies to various sectors for establishing over 30 national standards for data circulation, management, and service. The guideline contains provisions on the development of basic common standards, data infrastructure standards, data resource standards, data technology standards, data circulation standards, integrated application standards, and security assurance standards. The standards are aimed at enhancing interoperability, ensuring data quality, and promoting safe data usage. The data standards system is expected to be fully operational by 2026.
