On 30 August 2022, the Department of Justice of the Philippines (DOJ) initiated an investigation into a local social media channel, “Usapang Diskarte,” which allegedly streams child sexual abuse material. The investigation requires Facebook and YouTube to disclose information related to online child exploitation through two warrants to disclose computer data.
