Argentina: Opened consultation on AAIP Guide for public and private entities on transparency and personal data protection for responsible artificial intelligence

On 27 September 2024, the Agency of Access to Public Information of Argentina opened a consultation on the preliminary Guide for public and private entities on transparency and personal data protection for responsible artificial intelligence (AI). The consultation closes on 30 October 2024. The Guide applies to public and private organisations developing and using AI. The Guide sets out challenges and risks associated with AI. It sets out principles of lawfulness, consent, and transparency and offers recommendations for implementing such principles into different steps of the AI lifecycle, from the design stage through to verification and maintenance stages.
