Adopted Guidance on Detecting and mitigating Active Directory compromises

On 26 September 2024, the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) published, in collaboration with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the National Security Agency (NSA), the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (CCCS), the New Zealand National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC-NZ), and the United Kingdom's National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC-UK), the Guidance on Detecting and mitigating Active Directory compromises. The Guidance provides information to organisations about common techniques used to target Active Directory. For each technique, the Guidance also provides strategies which can be used to mitigate them.
