Vietnam: Announced Code of Conduct to protect children on the cyber environment

On 9 November 2021, the Code of Conduct to protect children in the cyber environment is announced by the Ministry of Information and Technology of Vietnam. The Code introduces different methods to report suspicious actions. Furthermore, awareness about the possible dangers for young people is to be raised. Moreover, the Code introduces regulations for businesses, internet services and online platforms, obliging them to design policies and ethical standards that protect children from the internet's harms.
