China: Adopted Implementation Guide for Coordinated Digital and Green Transformation Development

On 24 August 2024, the Implementation Guide for Coordinated Digital and Green Transformation Development was jointly adopted by ten Chinese government departments, including the Cyberspace Administration of China. The Implementation Guide aims to set out principles to guide the process of coordinated digital and green development, which seeks to integrate green and low carbon industries with emerging technologies. Specifically, the Implementation Guide highlights the importance of an innovation-led process, coordinated promotion, open cooperation, and practical results.
