Poland: Published UODO guidelines on protecting children's privacy and images on the internet bysports clubs, NGOs and educational institutions

On 16 August 2024, the Polish Office for Personal Data Protection (UODO) published three guides for specific institutions on protecting children's privacy and images on the internet. The guides follow the publication of the UODO guidelines on protecting children's privacy and images on the internet published on 8 July 2024 and outline the legal and ethical considerations of sharing children's images online by sports clubs, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and educational institutions.
