Singapore: Published CSA Operational Technology Cybersecurity Masterplan 2024

On 20 August 2024, the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) published the updated national Operational Technology Cybersecurity Masterplan (OT Masterplan 2024). The updated OT Masterplan 2024 builds on the OT Masterplan 2019 and outlines key initiatives to enhance cyber resiliency and shape OT organisations’ behaviour, including enhancing the OT cybersecurity talent pipeline, enhancing information sharing and reporting, uplifting OT cybersecurity resilience beyond critical information infrastructure (CII), and promoting secure-by-development principles. The OT Masterplan 2024 aims to foster a resilient and secure cyber environment for organisations in the CII and non-CII sectors, using OT systems to support business operations.
