Singapore: Closed consultation on CSA Guidelines for Securing AI Systems and a Companion Guide

On 15 September 2024, the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) closes its public consultation on the Guidelines for Securing AI Systems and a Companion Guide designed to support these guidelines. On 31 July 2024, the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) issued its guidelines for securing AI systems and the companion guide. The guidelines outline a framework for ensuring the security of Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems throughout their lifecycle, emphasising the need for AI to be secure by design and by default. Furthermore, the guidelines highlight the unique cybersecurity risks associated with AI and recommend a lifecycle approach to mitigate these risks, covering stages from planning and design to end-of-life. Complementing these guidelines, the draft companion guide on securing AI systems provides a community-driven, practical resource that offers specific measures and controls for securing AI systems.
