India: Approved acquisition of ATC Telecom Infrastructure through Data Infrastructure Trust

On 7 August 2024, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) approved the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of ATC Telecom Infrastructure Private Limited (ATC India) by Data Infrastructure Trust (DIT). DIT, a registered infrastructure investment trust under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Infrastructure Investment Trusts) Regulations 2014, operates through special purpose vehicles to provide passive telecom infrastructure services in India. ATC India, an indirect subsidiary of American Tower International, Inc., also provides similar passive telecom infrastructure services in the country.
