Republic of Korea: Announced Republic of Korea -Thailand Economic Partnership Agreement

On 9 July 2024, Thailand and South Korea started negotiations on an Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA). The parties focused on the draft agreement, market access proposals, and other related issues involving 13 trade negotiation committees and working groups. The EPA draft includes provisions on tariff elimination, as well as other measures relating to goods, services, investment, digital economy, government procurement, intellectual property, and cooperation.
