Adopted Federal Communications Commission Restoring Internet Freedom Order 2017

The Restoring Internet Freedom Order is adopted by the Federal Communications Commission on 5 January 2017. The Order restores the classification of broadband Internet access service under Title I of the Communications Act, allowing the Internet Service Providers to block, throttle and prioritize internet traffic on the basis of the transmitted content.
