Implemented Decree No. 55/2024/ND-CP including quality of service requirements

On 1 July 2024, Decree No. 55/2024/ND-CP implementing the Law on the Protection of Consumer Rights, including quality of service requirements, entered into force. The decree outlines the requirements for contracts with consumers, standard contracts, and general transaction terms. In particular, the aforementioned have to be registered in the National Registry following the procedure given in the decree. Furthermore, the responsibilities for defective goods and services are elaborated, as well as the public disclosure and notification process.
