Adopted ISO/IEC 27403:2024 cybersecurity guidelines on IoT security and Privacy – guidelines for IoT-domotics

On 1 July 2024, the Chinese National Information Security Standardisation Technical Committee (TC260) announced that the ISO/IEC 27403:2024 cybersecurity guidelines on IoT security and Privacy – guidelines for IoT-domotics have been adopted. The guidelines address the security and privacy challenges of home IoT systems, characterised by diverse devices and complex interactions. It identifies key stakeholders, analyses security and privacy risks, and proposes control measures to enhance network security, AI security, and data protection. Furthermore, the guidelines aim to improve the security and privacy of home IoT systems and strengthen the overall IoT security standards framework.
