Canada: Closed consultation on Inquiry on Artificial Intelligence (AI) Compute

On 6 September 2024, the department Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) of the Canadian government closes a consultation as part of an Inquiry on the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Compute initiatives. The consultation asks for public input to inform the design and implementation of two government initiatives investing in AI. The Canadian AI Sovereign Compute Strategy aims to guide the development of Canadian AI infrastructure over the long-term, while the AI Compute Access Fund provides near-term support to Canadian AI researchers and developers.
