Announced Texas Attorney General investigation into data brokers' compliance with business registration requirement established by SB 2105

On 18 June 2024, the Texas Attorney General (AG) issued notifications to over one hundred companies for not complying with the Texas Data Broker Law, which mandates registration with the Texas Secretary of State.
