Introduced Child Data Protection Act (Senate Bill S7695A)

On 13 October 2023, the Child Data Protection Act (SB 7695) was introduced to the Senate. The Act aims to prohibit online entities from collecting, using, sharing, or processing the personal data of minors without informed consent. Further, the Bill would require any disclosure of such data to third parties to be governed by a binding agreement.
