Description

Adopted Commission Services and ERGA cooperation framework on Digital Services Act enforcement

On 4 June 2024, the Commission services responsible for the enforcement of the Digital Services Act (DSA) and the European Regulators Group for Audiovisual Media Services (ERGA) adopted a structured cooperation framework with the objective of supporting the Commission's supervision and enforcement activities under the Digital Services Act enforcement (DSA). The cooperation framework aims to enhance the supervision of Very Large Online Platforms (VLOPs) and Search Engines (VLOSEs), leveraging ERGA's expertise in national media regulation under the Audiovisual Media Services Directive. ERGA will facilitate gathering relevant information at the national level and produce reports on media pluralism, disinformation, and the protection of minors, among other issues.
