Cybersecurity measures in Cyber Incident Reporting for Critical Infrastructure Act of 2021

On 30 September 2021, the Cyber Incident Reporting for Critical Infrastructure Act of 2021 is introduced in the United States House of Representatives. The Bill amends the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to establish the Cyber Incident Review Office in the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency of the Department of Homeland Security. The Office has the duty to aggregate and analyze reports related to cybersecurity incidents involving critical infrastructures. Moreover, the Act establishes the reporting procedures that must be followed by the entities operating critical infrastructures.
