On 15 October 2023, the Communications, Space, and Technology Commission (CST) of Saudi Arabia adopted the Regulations of Accessing Locally Hosted Internet Content. The Regulations aim to enhance Saudi Arabia's Internet ecosystem. The regulations apply to facilities-based unified license service providers and fixed telecommunication service providers. They require such providers to provide access to locally hosted content and adhere to certain standards of quality. The Regulations enter into effect on 14 December 2023.
