Saudi Arabia: Adopted National Policy for Managed Security Operations Centers (MSOC)

On 10 March 2024, the Saudi National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) adopted the National Policy for Managed Security Operations Centers (MSOC). The National Policy aims to support and improve MSOC services and outlines technical standards regarding cybersecurity, in order to promote the wide availability of high-quality MSOC services. The National Policy stipulates the prior approval by the NCA for services related to the Security Operations Center, carry out such operations with a licensed MSOC provider, and the provision to the NCA of a compliance and implementation plan.
