Issued Joint Cybersecurity Guidance to High-Risk Community Entities

On 14 May 2024, the Canadian Center for Cybersecurity (CCCS), alongside a number of other national agencies from the United States, Estonia, Japan, Finland, and the UK, issued the Joint Cybersecurity Guidance to High-Risk Community Entities addressed to civil society organisations and individuals, particularly those advocating for human rights and democracy. The Joint Guidance includes examples of cyber attacks, prevention measures to mitigate state-sponsored cyber operations and recommendations for software manufacturers.
