Adopted CCCS, CISA, NCSC-UK, NCSC-NZ and ASD’s ACSC guidance on choosing secure and verifiable technologies

On 9 May 2024, the Australian Signals Directorate’s Australian Cyber Security Centre (ASD’s ACSC), alongside the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (CCCS), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC-UK) and National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC-NZ) adopted guidance on choosing secure and verifiable technologies. The guidance is addressed to both organisations involved in procuring digital products and services and the manufacturers of these technologies. It emphasises the importance of secure-by-design principles, aiming to inform and assist in the development of digital products and services with enhanced security measures.
