Japan: Signed Japan-Paraguay Memorandum of Cooperation on ICT

On 7 May 2020, Japan and the Republic of Paraguay signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) on Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The MoC was signed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan and the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, along with the National Telecommunications Commission (CONATEL) of Paraguay. The MoC aims to increase bilateral cooperation across various ICT domains. These include the development of open, safe and resilient digital infrastructure, cyber security, satellite communication and digital terrestrial broadcasting.
