Signed Korea-Lao Memorandum of Understanding to Strengthen Digital Spread and Cybersecurity Capabilities

On 24 April 2024, the Korean Internet & Security Agency (KISA) and the Lao National Internet Center (LANIC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to Strengthen Digital Spread and Cybersecurity Capabilities. The MoU aims to promote cooperation between the two countries in the digital industry and safety-related fields, such as support for new technologies and cybersecurity capabilities strengthening Internet infrastructure. The MoU includes cooperation on the use of electronic signatures and public key-based structure (PKI) technology sharing to create a safe digital environment through the use of internet infrastructure.
